Hare Krishna! My previous experience as a camp counselor and camp organizer has an extremely positive impact in many aspects of my life and I would love to carry out this service as an attempt to give back. I love working with people, building new friendships, and creating an atmosphere of comfort and fun for those around me. Also, I absolutely love Gulab Jamuns :0) I look forward to utilizing my abilities in the best possible way to make Camp Ignite a meaningful and unforgettable experience!
Anisha Aggarwal
Haribol! My name is Anisha Aggarwal and I’m from Pennsylvania. I am 20 years old studying Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my friends, cook, crochet, and do kirtan!
Camp Ignite was one of the most impactful experiences of my life because of the lessons I learned: Spiritual life can be so much fun when you share it with friends and you can center your passion and interests around Krishna! Also, I could never forget how much I loved disconnecting from the world to be in nature, playing volleyball in the lake, and eating s’mores :)
Gaurang Vasadi
Hare Krishna, My name is Gauranga and I am from ISKCON of Delaware. I’m a Pre Med student at the University of Delaware. My favorite things to do are to travel and do kirtan.
I’ve attended Camp Ignite in the past for two years as an attendee and it was an amazing experience. Camp Ignite helped me connect and open up to many youth from across many different states. Camp help me make many new friendships that I have kept for many years for now and it also brought me closer to the devotee community. On top of that, the organizers would always have many wonderful activities planned for all of us, ranging from arts and crafts to water fun to outdoor games. Prasadam was always amazing even in the middle of the woods. Overall the sanga was a wonderful experience that really helped me connect and grow with others!

Jai Gopali
Hi everyone! I’m Jai Gopali, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Camp Ignite team. My journey has taken me from the medical field as a doctor to the classroom as a teacher, and onto the yoga mat as a 500-hour certified instructor.
Throughout my time teaching primary and secondary students in England, I saw firsthand how movement and mindfulness can transform a young person’s wellbeing. Now serving as a Resident Minister at Georgetown University, I am passionate about building inclusive spaces where people feel truly seen. I can’t wait to bring that same energy to camp this summer and help our campers feel more connected and inspired than ever!
Gokul Raj
Hi, I’m Gokul Raj. I am a facilitator, strategist, and lifelong builder of spaces where young people can grow in Krishna consciousness with depth, joy, and real community.
As the Co-Founder and Co-Director of The Sanga Initiative, I’ve spent years shaping retreats, mentorship programs, and leadership opportunities designed specifically for the next generation. I love the art of bringing people together—asking the thoughtful questions that spark growth and turning big ideas into meaningful, lived experiences.
When I’m not designing programs, I’m usually dreaming up the next adventure or finding new ways to make spiritual life feel alive and relevant for today’s world. At Camp Ignite, I’m especially excited to help create a week full of fun, reflection, friendship, and memories that campers will carry with them forever.
